Graduate Marketing Internship

Help make a difference whilst gaining professional experience

The Smart WaterMark graduate Marketing Internship offers marketing students an opportunity to gain experience in environmental accreditation branding and social marketing.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Brand and project management;

·         Management of brand-specific promotions;

·         Research and analysis of market data;

·         Website content maintenance and updates;

·         Administrative duties for the Smart WaterMark marketing team, as directed by the Smart WaterMark CEO or Marketing Co-ordinator.

The successful Graduate will possess the following qualities:

·         Academic qualification (DBMK: Bachelor of Management (Marketing) or DBMT: Bachelor of Management (Marketing) / Bachelor of Arts (International Studies));

·         Vibrant personality;

·         Results and customer focus; and

·         Initiative and commitment.

Smart Approved WaterMark is Australia's labelling program for water saving products and services. The not-for-profit scheme is run by the Australian Water Association, Irrigation Australia, the Nursery and Garden Industry Australia and Water Services Association of Australia, with funding from the Australian Government's Water Smart Australia programme through the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.

The Marketing Internship will be offered for an initial contracted period of three months with an extension for a further three months.

You will work from the Smart WaterMark national office in Sydney, and will report to the Smart WaterMark CEO as an important member of the team.

The graduate internship will give you real life exposure to the theories and concepts you learn whilst studying your marketing degree. The internship will allow you to gain work experience in your chosen profession in a real business environment. The Internship will provide you with opportunities to contribute to the growth of the company and add substance to your CV.

Expenses associated with the internship will covered by the Smart WaterMark scheme.
